Tangram Chemical, LLC was established in October of 1998 as a chemical manufacturer of High Purity Inorganic Chemicals after acquiring the assets of the Poly Research Corporation. The company is owned and operated by Philip Gillette, CEO and John Takakjian, President being located on Long Island in Holtsville, New York. Operations take place in a 32,000 sq/ft, FDA registered facility located on 7.5 acres.

In 2000, the company purchased the Lithium Hydroxide business from Poly Research Corporation who retained this business at the time of the asset sale in 1998. This acquisition strengthened the company’s overall position as a producer of High Purity Inorganics.
